Extremely waterproof with optimal breathability, garments made with this fabric have sporty designs. Helly Tech Performance fabrics perform well in challenging outdoor activities during unpredictable and changing weather conditions.
PrimaLoft Black Insulation Eco was originally developed to address the common shortcomings of standard continuous filament insulations: compactness and softness. This places in its category all the functions expected from synthetic PrimaLoft fabric: total warmth values, wet performance, efficient compaction, and a soft feel. The fibres create a long fibre insulation that delivers on its promises and eliminates cold spots. Efficiently retaining body heat in both dry and wet conditions while maintaining breathability, this insulation offers comfort by protecting against the elements.
Technology developed in the late 70s and improved over the years. It is an avalanche rescue system that allows victims to be located using radar. It consists of two parts: the detector radar used by rescue teams, and on the other hand, the passive reflectors that do not emit a signal and are incorporated into some jackets, trousers, helmets, and even boots. The reflector consists of a small electronic transponder weighing just four grams with a thin copper antenna and a diode that bounces the detector signal and doubles the frequency. It is covered with a protective rubber outer layer that gives it its known elongated pill shape. It is practically indestructible. The reflector does not emit a signal and therefore does not require a power source.
The bluesign certificate goes beyond being an eco-label. Due to the global approach of this industrial standard, not only has the safety of the end consumer been considered, but also other aspects, including occupational health, water emissions, and air emissions. Apart from these important aspects, the principle of resource conservation plays a major role within the bluesign certificate. The independent bluesign certificate guarantees that the entire production chain only contains components and only goes through processes that are harmless to people and the environment.
